
What should I bring to my fishing charter?
When preparing for a day of fishing, it’s important to have the essentials to ensure a comfortable and successful trip. Here is a list of items we suggest:
- Appropriate clothing: Dress for weather and conditions. Bring layers for colder weather or protection from the sun for warmer days. Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray.
- Food and drinks: Pack plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout our hot and humid summer days. Bring snacks and meals to keep your energy levels up, such as sandwiches, fruit, granola bars, and nuts
- Fishing license: Make sure you have a valid Louisiana fishing license. Keep it with you at all times. We will ask to see it ahead of leaving for the charter.

A fishing license can be purchased from LouisianaOutdoors.com. Annual recreational fishing licenses are valid from the date of purchase and one year (365 days) from the date of purchase. A $200 deposit due at booking. We accept Venmo, cash, personal checks, and major credit cards.
What happens if the trip is cancelled due to inclement weather?
In case of trip cancellation due to inclement weather or any other reason, deposits are retained for 365 days from the cancellation date, allowing guests to reschedule within this period. However, on the 366th day, the deposit is forfeited.
